In the upcoming Ligue 2 game between USL Dunkerque and FC Metz, scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the USL Dunkerque vs. FC Metz match originally scheduled for October 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook is mispricing the event. However, sportsbooks have access to different information, such as injury reports and team news, so differences aren’t necessarily indicative of an error on either side.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the aggregated sentiment. Higher volume generally indicates greater confidence in a particular outcome, but it doesn't guarantee accuracy; it simply shows where the most trading activity is focused.
This market resolves around Oct 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the USL Dunkerque vs. FC Metz match – the exact score – will be used to determine which shares pay out. It’s important to note that the resolution process relies on publicly available, authoritative sources to ensure an accurate and unbiased determination of the final score. Traders should monitor these sources as the resolution date approaches.
Several factors could influence trading activity and move this market before resolution. Any significant news regarding team lineups, injuries to key players for either USL Dunkerque or FC Metz, or changes in weather conditions could all impact the perceived probabilities. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or player transfers could also cause shifts in the market. Furthermore, general sentiment and public perception surrounding the teams’ performance can play a role in driving trading volume and price fluctuations.
