This event is for the upcoming Ligue 2 game, scheduled for Friday, October 9, 2026 between USL Dunkerque and FC Annecy.
The markets resolve based on the result of the Dunkerque vs Annecy professional Ligue 2 soccer match scheduled for October 9, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. A 'Yes' outcome for the Dunkerque market occurs if Dunkerque wins the match within regular time. Similarly, a 'Yes' for Annecy occurs if Annecy secures the victory during the same period. If the match concludes in a tie after regular time, the Tie market resolves to 'Yes.' Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform. Extra time and penalty shootouts do not affect the resolution, as only the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time is considered.
Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources involved. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while prediction markets reflect the aggregate beliefs of informed traders. This market, like others, can sometimes offer more accurate probabilities, especially when a large and diverse group participates. Sportsbooks may also be slower to incorporate new information, such as late-breaking team news or changes in player form, compared to the rapid adjustments seen in prediction markets. Examining both can provide a more complete picture of potential outcomes.
