Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the mechanisms behind price discovery. Sportsbooks set odds based on statistical models and internal risk assessments, while prediction markets rely on the collective intelligence of a diverse group of traders. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, especially when incorporating information not readily captured by sportsbook algorithms. However, sportsbook odds are generally more readily available and may offer different betting options than this market provides.
