If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often offer a different perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and profit margins, this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the teams' strengths. If you find a significant difference between the odds on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks, it might signal an opportunity for value betting, assuming you believe the market is more accurate.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time estimate of the likely outcome. The total volume traded in this market influences price discovery, with higher volume generally indicating greater confidence in the prevailing odds.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Sambenedettese vs. Livorno match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning shares. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure an objective and transparent outcome. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final score and the shares they hold in the corresponding outcome.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching staff could significantly impact the perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Furthermore, significant bets placed by informed traders, or even shifts in broader public sentiment, can cause the market to react and adjust its pricing. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding potential movements in this market leading up to Oct 24, 2026.
