Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as the event approaches. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or seek to profit from public perception, while this market aggregates the informed opinions of many individual traders. However, initial sportsbook lines can sometimes offer value if they differ significantly from the prediction market price, as inefficiencies are often quickly arbitraged. It’s important to compare both to make informed decisions, but this market often provides a more refined probability assessment.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team, if any, scores the first goal during the first half of the US Lecce versus Genoa CFC match. If neither team scores in the first half, the market will resolve as ‘No Goal Scored’. The resolution will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources to ensure accuracy and fairness.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either US Lecce or Genoa CFC would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements shortly before kickoff could also lead to price fluctuations, as could significant betting activity in traditional sportsbooks. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for understanding potential shifts in this market before it resolves.
