Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If sportsbook odds significantly diverge from those found here, it could indicate a disagreement about the true probability of either athlete winning. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms and may appeal to different types of bettors.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the event. The current implied probability of a particular outcome is determined by the share price relative to 1; a price of 0.60 means the market assigns a 60% chance to that outcome.

This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Us Danylo vs. Peretiatko match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against publicly available data to determine the winning outcome and distribute funds to those who correctly predicted the result.
