Frequently asked questions

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin regardless of the outcome. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders, attempting to accurately forecast the result. While sportsbooks may initially favor one team, the prediction market can quickly adjust based on new information or shifts in sentiment, potentially offering a more accurate, albeit dynamic, assessment of the likely outcome. It's important to note that discrepancies can arise due to differing information access and analytical approaches.

This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by the official result of the second half of the match between US Catanzaro 1929 and Mantova 1911. The platform will verify the outcome against established sports data sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the winning team or a draw will receive a payout based on the final share price at the time of resolution.

Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the probabilities in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced before the match could significantly impact the perceived chances of each team. In-game events during the first half, such as early goals, red cards, or dominant performances by one team, will also likely cause rapid price movements. Unexpected weather conditions or referee decisions could also introduce volatility. Overall, any information that alters the assessment of each team's likelihood of winning the second half has the potential to move this market.
