Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from sportsbook odds, which are often set by experts or algorithms. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like team news, injuries, and public betting patterns, while this market relies on the collective judgment of traders. If a large number of traders believe an outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price of that outcome will rise in this market. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges.
