Prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. If a large number of people believe in a particular result, the odds in this market may shift more dramatically than at a sportsbook. Examining these differences can reveal insights into market sentiment and potential value.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible exact scores. The price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth and trading volume indicate the level of confidence traders have in each potential result. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust predictions accordingly.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Universitatea Craiova CS versus FCV Farul Constanţa match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the league organizers. This ensures a transparent and objective determination of the outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand when the market will be settled.
