On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes, and the price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if more people believe an outcome is likely, the price of that contract will increase. Conversely, if sentiment shifts, the price will fall. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the latest information and collective intelligence.
