Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders on Limitless, aims to reflect the true probability of an outcome, though discrepancies can and do occur. These differences can arise from varying levels of information, differing risk assessments, or simply the dynamics of each marketplace. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast probabilities than traditional odds, especially as the event approaches.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous exchange where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders believe Renato Moicano will win, the price of contracts representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa for Tom Nolan. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust its predictions in real-time, reflecting the collective intelligence of the crowd.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the UFC following the conclusion of the Moicano vs. Nolan fight. Any official decision, including a knockout, technical knockout, submission, or judges' decision, will determine the winning outcome. The platform will then verify the result against trusted sources to finalize the settlement of this market.

Several factors could influence the price movement of this market leading up to Nov 1, 2026. News regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference statements could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected betting trends in traditional sportsbooks might also cause adjustments. Furthermore, any updates on fighter weight classes or potential rule changes could impact the perceived probabilities. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived likelihood of either fighter winning is likely to move this market.
