Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market is driven purely by individuals willing to put their money behind their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately reflect true probabilities, as they aggregate diverse perspectives and are less susceptible to biases inherent in sportsbook line-setting. Examining these differences can be a valuable exercise for informed betting.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market efficiently incorporates new information and adjusts prices accordingly, providing a dynamic assessment of the fight’s potential results. This creates a constantly evolving landscape of probabilities based on collective intelligence.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result declared by the UFC following the conclusion of the Erosa vs. Lee fight. The fighter declared the winner by the official judges or via knockout/submission will determine the winning outcome in this market. It's important to note that any potential rule changes or official adjustments made by the UFC after the fight will be considered during the resolution process.

Several factors could influence this market before the fight takes place. Any news regarding fighter injuries, changes in weight class, or significant training updates could shift the odds. Public statements from the fighters or their coaches, as well as analysis from MMA experts, can also impact market sentiment. Unexpected betting patterns or large volume trades on Limitless could signal shifts in confidence. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of the fighters’ relative strengths and weaknesses has the potential to move this market.
