On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic pricing system that responds to new information and shifts in sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Zhelezniakova vs. Pereira fight, specifically whether the fight goes over or under 2.5 rounds as determined by the official fight record. Traders will then be paid out based on their holdings in the winning outcome, with payouts determined by the final market price at resolution.
