Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook’s odds are inaccurate, they can express that view in this market, potentially causing the probabilities to diverge. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast outcomes, especially when there’s strong public interest and active trading.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a market maker system to ensure there’s always a bid and ask price available, allowing traders to enter and exit positions easily. This dynamic pricing creates a real-time assessment of the fight's potential results.

This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Allen vs. Duncan fight as declared by the UFC. Any official decision, including a knockout, technical knockout, submission, or decision by the judges, will determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against trusted sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the market settlement.

Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding injuries to either fighter, changes in their training regimens, or updates on their physical condition would likely cause shifts in the odds. Public statements from the fighters or their coaches, as well as analysis from MMA experts, could also impact market sentiment. Unexpected betting trends in sportsbooks or significant volume spikes on Limitless itself are further signals to watch. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of each fighter’s chances of winning could move this market.
