Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant difference exists between this market and sportsbook odds, it could indicate disagreement about the true probability of a particular result. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds, especially when there’s strong public interest or access to unique information.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the perceived probability of each fighter winning. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe a particular outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust its predictions accordingly.

This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the UFC following the conclusion of the Krylov vs. Yakhyaev fight. The fighter declared the winner by the official judges or via knockout/submission will determine the winning contract in this market. Any disputes or challenges to the official result will be considered by Limitless’s resolution process.

Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. News regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference statements could all shift trader sentiment. Unexpected analysis from MMA experts or significant betting action at sportsbooks could also impact the odds. Furthermore, any updates on the fighters’ physical condition or tactical approaches leading up to the fight are likely to move this market as traders adjust their assessments of each fighter’s chances of winning.
