Frequently asked questions

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly diverges from the sportsbook’s initial assessment. It’s common to see this market incorporate information and perspectives that sportsbooks may not immediately factor in, resulting in potentially more accurate probabilities as the event approaches.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability assessment. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The closer we get to the event, the more the price will reflect the collective wisdom of the traders participating in this market. This dynamic pricing allows for a fluid and responsive evaluation of the potential results of the Soldic vs. Williams fight.

This market resolves around Oct 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the UFC following the conclusion of the fight between Roberto Soldic and Khaos Williams. The platform will verify the result against established sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders holding contracts representing the correct outcome will be paid out according to the final market price at resolution.

Several factors could influence this market leading up to Oct 5, 2026. Any news regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference dynamics could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about weight class changes or potential rule modifications could also have an impact. Furthermore, the release of detailed fight analytics or expert predictions could sway opinions and drive trading activity. Public betting patterns from sportsbooks, while not directly reflected here, might also indirectly influence the market as traders react to broader public perception.
