These markets track specific combinations of first-half and full-game outcomes in a college football matchup, requiring both conditions to be met for resolution. Each market focuses on a unique pairing of half-time and final results, reflecting detailed predictions about game dynamics.
All markets resolve based on the combined results of the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the UCLA vs Oregon college football game scheduled for October 10, 2026. A market resolves to Yes only if both the specified first-half result and the specified full-game result occur exactly as described. If either the first-half or full-game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to No. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original start time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official final results. If the game fails to start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, all markets will resolve to a fair price. These rules apply uniformly across all markets for this event.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s prices are driven purely by supply and demand from traders who are incentivized to be accurate. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public opinion shifts. These differences can present opportunities for arbitrage, where traders attempt to profit from the price variations between this market and external sources. However, it’s important to note that sportsbook odds are influenced by factors beyond pure prediction, such as the sportsbook’s profit margin.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes of the UCLA vs Oregon game. The price of each contract reflects the market’s probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy a contract, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth shows the volume of contracts available at various price points, giving you insight into the liquidity and potential price impact of larger trades. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the first half and fulltime result of the UCLA vs Oregon game. The platform will verify the final score against official sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the winning contract. Traders holding the winning contract will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution. It’s important to monitor the event’s progress and be aware of the resolution timeline as Oct 10, 2026 approaches.
