Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to reflect the true probabilities of each exact score occurring. While sportsbooks may adjust odds based on betting patterns and public perception, this market is more directly influenced by informed individuals expressing their beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply variations in opinion.
