In the upcoming Bundesliga game between TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Hamburger SV, scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim vs. Hamburger SV match originally scheduled for October 10, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the views of many individual bettors. If a significant number of traders believe a specific outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available, though discrepancies can occur.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each exact score outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who buy shares in a specific outcome, the higher its price rises, indicating increased confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price, suggesting decreasing belief. This dynamic process establishes a real-time probability assessment for the match.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Hoffenheim vs. Hamburger SV match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football league. The platform will then determine the winning outcome based on the actual scoreline, and shares will be settled accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the confirmed result to understand the final outcome of this market.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Hoffenheim or Hamburger SV would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected news about key players, or even a major upset in a related match, could all contribute to movement in this market before Oct 10, 2026.
