PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi's resolution logic is ambiguous and effectively defines a 'Yes' outcome for either team winning, while Polymarket and Predict define resolution based on a specific team winning.Hero tip: Be cautious about potential discrepancies in market resolution. Kalshi's logic effectively creates a market that always resolves to 'Yes' regardless of the winner, which differs from the team-specific resolution on Polymarket and Predict. Consider focusing on Polymarket/Predict for a more traditional winner-take-all outcome.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Resolves to 'Towson Tigers' if Towson wins, and 'Utah Utes' if Utah wins. "If the Towson Tigers win, the market will resolve to "Towson Tigers". If the Utah Utes win, the market will resolve to "Utah Utes".
  • Kalshi: Resolves to 'Yes' if either Utah or Towson wins. "If Utah wins...then the market resolves to Yes. If Towson wins...then the market resolves to Yes."
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms.
