In the upcoming match between Toulouse FC and RC Strasbourg Alsace, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Toulouse FC" if Toulouse FC are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "RC Strasbourg Alsace" if RC Strasbourg Alsace are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a margin for profit. This market, however, is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches and more information surfaces. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments and information access between market participants and bookmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. Currently, the market is showing a dynamic interplay between buyers and sellers, indicating evolving expectations regarding which team will score first in the second half.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the second half of the Toulouse FC versus RC Strasbourg Alsace match. The official match records will serve as the basis for determining the winning outcome. Any potential delays or postponements of the match may affect the resolution timeline, but the outcome will always be determined by the official result.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Toulouse FC or RC Strasbourg Alsace would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Additionally, any significant pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators or analysts could sway opinions and drive trading volume, especially if it challenges prevailing assumptions about the likely outcome of the second half.
