In the upcoming match between Toulouse FC and RC Strasbourg Alsace, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve to "Toulouse FC" if Toulouse FC are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "RC Strasbourg Alsace" if RC Strasbourg Alsace are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market is driven by individuals betting with their own money. Historically, prediction markets have demonstrated an ability to be more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially when aggregating information from many participants. However, sportsbook odds remain a valuable point of comparison, and discrepancies can present potential opportunities for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand among traders on the Polymarket exchange, and the total volume traded indicates the level of interest and conviction surrounding each possibility.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team, Toulouse FC or RC Strasbourg Alsace, scores the first goal in the first half of the match. The official match records will serve as the source of truth for determining the winning outcome. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized on Polymarket.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Toulouse FC or RC Strasbourg Alsace would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also affect the perceived likelihood of either team scoring first. Additionally, any pre-match analysis or expert opinions suggesting a shift in momentum could drive trading activity and alter the odds. Unexpected lineup announcements could also move this market.
