In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Toulouse FC and RC Strasbourg Alsace, scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Toulouse FC vs. RC Strasbourg Alsace match originally scheduled for November 6, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook is mispricing the event, or that information not yet reflected in sportsbook lines is influencing trading activity. It's a useful comparison for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of each share directly reflects the market's collective probability assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a dynamic and real-time forecast. The current price movements indicate where the majority of traders see the most value, and therefore, the most likely outcome of the first half.
This market resolves around Nov 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the official result of the first half's exact score in the Toulouse FC versus RC Strasbourg Alsace match will be used to determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official match data, ensuring an objective and transparent outcome. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is verified and reported.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in starting lineups, or even weather conditions could significantly shift the perceived probabilities. Unexpected pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators or shifts in public sentiment could also drive price movements. Furthermore, as the match approaches and more data becomes available – such as updated team form or head-to-head statistics – traders will refine their predictions, leading to further adjustments in the odds on Polymarket.
