The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks incorporate a profit margin into their odds, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs. If a significant discrepancy emerges between this market and sportsbook offerings, it may indicate differing opinions on the likely outcome of the first half. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks in accuracy, as they aggregate diverse perspectives. However, sportsbook odds can still be a useful benchmark for comparison.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective assessment of the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are influenced by factors such as team news, injuries, and pre-match analysis. Traders aim to profit by accurately predicting the outcome and capitalizing on price discrepancies.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official, final score at the end of the first half of the Toulouse FC versus ES Troyes AC match. Any potential delays in reporting the official score could affect the resolution timeline, but the platform will strive for a swift and accurate determination based on publicly available information. The outcome will be determined by the official match result, as reported by recognized sports data providers.
Several signals could significantly impact this market before resolution. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Toulouse FC or ES Troyes AC would likely cause price fluctuations. Any changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before kickoff could also shift market sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue might also influence trading activity. Furthermore, significant public attention or influential analyst opinions could sway the market, especially as the match approaches. Any major development related to the teams or the match itself has the potential to move the odds.
