In the upcoming Premier League game between Tottenham Hotspur FC and Crystal Palace FC, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 1:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Tottenham Hotspur FC vs. Crystal Palace FC match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 1:30 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market’s odds are determined by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It's common to see differences emerge, especially when public sentiment strongly diverges from the sportsbook's initial assessment. Comparing the two can highlight potential value or areas where the market anticipates a different result than conventional wisdom.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible first-half scores. The price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information arises, these prices dynamically adjust, providing a real-time assessment of the likely result. The higher the demand for a particular outcome, the higher its share price will climb, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the final score of the first half of the Tottenham Hotspur FC versus Crystal Palace FC match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on official match data, ensuring an objective and transparent result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified score.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, particularly to key players for either Tottenham Hotspur or Crystal Palace, would likely cause significant shifts. Tactical announcements from either manager, such as confirmed starting lineups or changes in formation, could also impact predictions. Even general match-day conditions, like the weather forecast, might play a role, as could late-breaking news about player availability or team morale. These factors all contribute to the evolving assessment of the likely first-half score.
