Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk assessment, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the collective intelligence of the prediction market participants. It’s common to see this market odds shift as new information becomes available, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities than those initially offered by sportsbooks. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether Tottenham and Crystal Palace will have 11 or more total corners. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, driven by traders’ willingness to buy or sell at different price points. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to reflect the collective probability assigned to the event by the market participants. Higher demand for the 'yes' outcome (11+ corners) will drive up its price, while increased selling pressure will lower it.

This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The total number of corners awarded to both Tottenham and Crystal Palace during the match will be tallied. If the combined total is 11 or more, the market will resolve in favor of the 'yes' outcome. If the total is 10 or fewer, the market will resolve in favor of the 'no' outcome. The official match statistics will serve as the definitive source for determining the final corner count and resolving this market.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Tottenham or Crystal Palace, particularly attacking players known for winning corners, could shift expectations. Tactical changes announced by either manager – for example, a more attacking or defensive approach – could also impact the perceived likelihood of corners being awarded. Even weather conditions on match day, such as strong winds, could play a role. Finally, significant betting activity or large volume trades on Limitless itself can cause noticeable price movements.
