This market will resolve to "Yes" if the total number of maps that go to overtime across all official matches of VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for September 24 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China is greater than or equal to the number specified in the market title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A map goes to overtime if the score reaches 12-12 and the map is decided in overtime rounds (i.e., the winning team's final score is 14 or more). Each such map counts once, regardless of how many overtime rounds are played. Every completed map in every official match of the tournament (Group Stage and Playoffs) counts. If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled or postponed such that it has not concluded by November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of overtime maps completed as of that time. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official match results and per-map statistics on vlr.gg (https://www.vlr.gg/event/2766/valorant-champions-2026). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of specific outcomes – in this case, the total number of overtimes at VALORANT Champions 2026. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd. This dynamic pricing means the odds will shift based on new information, team performance, and overall market sentiment leading up to the event.
This market resolves around Nov 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of VALORANT Champions 2026, specifically the total number of maps that go to overtime during the tournament. The final count will be determined by the official tournament organizers and documented in publicly available match records. The market will then settle to reflect whether the actual overtime count falls into one of the predefined outcome ranges offered on Polymarket.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major roster changes for top VALORANT teams, unexpected upsets in qualifying tournaments, and the announcement of the tournament format could all shift trader sentiment. In-game meta shifts, particularly those favoring defensive or offensive strategies, could also influence predictions about overtime frequency. Strong performances by underdogs in early stages of the tournament or any news regarding player health or visa issues could also cause notable price movements in this market. Monitoring these events will be key to understanding how the odds evolve.
