Description

This market focuses on predicting which team will lead after the first quarter of a professional basketball game between Toronto and Washington. It reflects the competitive dynamics of the early game stages, where initial momentum can significantly influence the match's trajectory. Outcomes depend purely on the scoring during the first quarter, with specific conditions for game postponements or cancellations.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team scores more points in the first quarter of the designated Toronto versus Washington professional basketball game. If Toronto scores the most points in the first quarter, its market resolves to Yes, and Washington’s resolves to No. Conversely, if Washington scores the most points, its market resolves to Yes, and Toronto’s resolves to No. If both teams score the same number of points, the Tie market resolves to Yes, and both team-specific markets resolve to No. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of the original start time, all markets remain active and resolve according to the actual first-quarter result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within this 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants.
