In the upcoming match between Torino FC and US Lecce, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Torino FC" if Torino FC are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "US Lecce" if US Lecce are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of each type of market. It's common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks, especially as kickoff approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Torino or Lecce will score first in the first half. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability of US Lecce scoring first is 48.5%. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly adapt to new information and changing sentiment among traders.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team, if any, scores the first goal during the first half of the Torino FC versus US Lecce match. The official match records will be used to verify the result. Any goals scored during stoppage time in the first half will be included in determining the outcome of this market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Torino or Lecce would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also impact the perceived likelihood of either team scoring. Even pre-match analysis from respected football commentators or unexpected lineup announcements could shift trader sentiment and affect the odds. Any significant event impacting team morale or tactical approaches could also move this market.
