Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective wisdom of traders, aiming to accurately reflect the true probability of each outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, prediction markets can dynamically adjust as new information emerges and more people participate, potentially offering a more accurate forecast. It's common to see differences in implied probabilities between this market and sportsbook offerings.
