On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic process ensures that the market price constantly adjusts to incorporate new information and changing sentiment among traders.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the NPB championship series, determining which team emerges victorious. The platform will verify the result against publicly available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the winning team will be entitled to a payout based on the final share price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Key player injuries, unexpected team performance shifts, or major coaching changes could all influence trading activity. News regarding team strategies, pitching rotations, or any controversies surrounding the teams involved will likely cause price fluctuations. Furthermore, any significant upsets in the lead-up to the championship series, or changes in public perception of team strengths, could also drive movement in this market. Monitoring these signals is crucial for understanding potential shifts in the collective forecast.
