On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what traders are willing to pay for a share in Tokyo Sunrockers or Nagasaki Velca, and this price is constantly updated based on supply and demand.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Tokyo Sunrockers versus Nagasaki Velca game, as reported by official league sources. The market will determine which team won the game, and that result will be used to settle all outstanding shares. Traders holding shares in the winning team will receive a payout, while those holding shares in the losing team will not.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or coaching decisions could shift expectations and impact trading activity. Unexpected performance in recent games by either team could also cause the odds to move. Furthermore, broader news related to the B.League, such as rule changes or significant sponsorships, might also play a role. Public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators could also contribute to shifts in this market.
