This group forecasts the outcome of a Test Match cricket game between Bangladesh and West Indies, scheduled for November 4, 2026. Markets ask whether Bangladesh or West Indies will win, or if the match will end in a draw. All platforms define a draw outcome for cancellations or abandoned matches.
In the upcoming Test Match cricket match between Bangladesh and West Indies, originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 11:00 PM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve to draw. If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the match is canceled, does not start by Friday, November 6, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, the market will resolve to draw. If the match otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve to draw. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
The event consists of three markets resolving based on the official result of the Bangladesh vs West Indies men’s professional Test match scheduled for November 4, 2026. The Bangladesh market resolves to Yes if Bangladesh wins the match. The West Indies market resolves to Yes if West Indies wins the match. The Draw/Tie market resolves to Yes if the match concludes in a draw or tie. If the match is cancelled before commencement or abandoned before the toss with no official result declared, all markets resolve to a fair market price. If the match is delayed beyond five days from its original start time, all markets also resolve to a fair market price. If the match is abandoned after the toss, all markets resolve according to the official result recorded by the governing body. Prices for this market may differ between Polymarket and Predict due to variations in trader demographics, liquidity, and market-specific rules. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, Polymarket might attract more sophisticated traders with access to detailed cricket analysis, leading to a more informed price, while Predict could have a broader user base with less specialized knowledge. Differences in trading fees and platform incentives can also contribute to price discrepancies. Furthermore, the volume of trading on each platform – currently $19 overall – impacts price discovery and can create temporary imbalances between Polymarket and Predict.
