This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh scheduled for October 9 2026 at 1:30 AM ET in Test Match. The outcome corresponding to Afghanistan will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Afghanistan. The outcome corresponding to Bangladesh will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Bangladesh. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player being the top batter. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. As more traders buy shares in a particular player, the price increases, reflecting a higher perceived chance of success. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven solely by supply and demand, offering a dynamic and responsive assessment of the potential outcomes for this match.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the Test Match between Afghanistan and Bangladesh. In the event of a tie, the player who reached the score first will be considered the winner. The final result will be determined by official match statistics and verified against credible public sources, ensuring a transparent and objective outcome for this market.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or a player’s recent form could also trigger movement. Furthermore, early performance in the match itself – for example, a strong start by a particular batter – would likely lead to a rapid adjustment of prices as traders react to the unfolding events and reassess the probabilities of each player being the top scorer.
