This event tracks passing yard milestones for specific players in an upcoming football game between Tennessee and Indianapolis. The outcome depends on whether either player reaches designated yardage thresholds during the full match, including any overtime periods.
Each market resolves to Yes if the specified player achieves the exact passing yard threshold stated in the primary rule during the full game, including overtime. All contracts are designated as protected: if a player participates in at least one play during the first half but none after halftime (including overtime), the contract resolves to the pre-game fair price unless the player meets the yardage requirement, in which case it settles based on actual performance. If the player participates in any play after the first half, the contract settles based on actual statistics regardless of first-half involvement. Participation in a play nullified by penalty does not count, and players who never participate are subject to the fair price non-participation rule. The protected designation applies exclusively to full-game contracts with an above or at-least payout criterion.
Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market’s prices are determined by traders directly expressing their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. Comparing the two can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making, though it’s important to remember they represent different approaches to forecasting the event’s outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official passing yard totals from the game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result will be based on the official statistics released by the NFL, and the contract corresponding to the correct passing yard range will pay out to its holders. Traders should monitor official sources for the final game statistics to understand the resolution of this market.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players – particularly the quarterbacks or wide receivers – would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, especially if they predict adverse conditions affecting the passing game, could also shift prices. Furthermore, late-breaking news about team strategies or defensive matchups could cause traders to reassess their predictions, leading to volatility in this market. Public perception and betting trends could also play a role.
