In an upcoming NFL matchup between Tennessee and Indianapolis, two key players are being watched for their rushing performance. The outcome hinges on which player manages to accumulate the greatest number of rushing yards during the game, with specific attention given to Jonathan Taylor and Tony Pollard.
The market resolves to Yes for the respective player if they record the most rushing yards among all participants in the Tennessee vs. Indianapolis game scheduled for October 18, 2026. If the designated player does not participate, the market resolves to No. In the event of a tie for the highest rushing yards among players, the payout will be divided equally among all tied outcomes, calculated as $1 minus the Yes payout divided by the number of tied players. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the market resolves to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set their odds based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. As more information becomes available – such as injury reports or weather forecasts – and as the event approaches, you might see the prices in this market converge with or diverge from sportsbook odds. It's common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds in accuracy.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. As more traders buy a contract, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of expectations for the game's rushing yardage leader. The current top outcome is unavailable.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The player officially credited with the most rushing yards by the NFL will determine the winning contract. Official NFL statistics will be used to determine the outcome, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result. Traders will have until the resolution time to adjust their positions based on the latest information available, and the market will lock shortly before the game concludes.
