These markets track specific combinations of first-half and full-game outcomes in a football match between Tennessee and Indianapolis. Each market requires both the first-half result and the final game result to match a predetermined scenario for resolution.
All markets resolve based on the combined results of the first half and the full game (including overtime) of the Tennessee vs Indianapolis Pro Football game scheduled for October 18, 2026. For any market to resolve to Yes, both the specified first-half result and the specified full-game result must occur exactly as stated. If either the first-half or full-game result does not match the market's conditions, the market resolves to No. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of its original scheduled start time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price. The markets cover all possible combinations of first-half and full-game results, including wins for either team, ties, and specific matchups between the two outcomes.
Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to be accurate. You may find that this market's implied probabilities diverge from sportsbook odds, especially as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions on team performance, injuries, or other factors influencing the game's outcome. Examining both sources can provide a more comprehensive view.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. As more people buy contracts predicting a specific result, the price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis, leading to dynamic price movements. This creates a real-time assessment of the likelihood of each possible result in the Tennessee vs Indianapolis game.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Tennessee vs Indianapolis game, specifically the 1st Half / Fulltime Result as determined by official league sources. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the settlement of all contracts. Traders holding contracts on the correct outcome will receive a payout, while those on incorrect outcomes will forfeit their stake.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected team performance in preceding games could shift trader sentiment. Weather conditions on game day could also play a role, particularly if they favor one team’s style of play. Major announcements related to team morale or internal conflicts could also influence trading activity. Public perception and media coverage leading up to the game will also likely contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
