Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. If prediction market participants strongly disagree with the sportsbook's assessment, the odds here will likely diverge. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast outcomes, especially when there's significant public information available and a large volume of trading activity. However, sportsbook odds can still offer a useful comparison point.
