On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who buy shares in a particular outcome, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds reflect the collective intelligence of those trading on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be determined by which team—Tegevajaro Miyazaki or RB Ōmiya Ardija—wins the second half of the J2 League match. The platform will rely on official match results to determine the winning outcome. Traders who correctly predicted the second-half winner will receive a payout proportional to their shareholding in the winning outcome.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, potentially favoring one team's playing style over another. Furthermore, real-time updates during the first half of the match itself—such as early goals or red cards—will undoubtedly cause rapid adjustments to the prices on Polymarket as traders react to the unfolding events and reassess probabilities.
