Description

This market refers to the Valorant match between Team Vitality and Nongshim RedForce in the VCT Champions 2026, initially scheduled for October 8, 2026 UTC. This market will resolve to "Team Vitality" if Team Vitality win the match against Nongshim RedForce. This market will resolve to "Nongshim RedForce" if Nongshim RedForce win the match against Team Vitality. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 22, 2026, 23:59 UTC (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 8, 2026 UTC). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, or the team is renamed or rebranded, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying levels of market participation. If there's a significant difference, it could indicate that the crowd believes a sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular result for this match.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market's current assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand; if more people believe Team Vitality will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa.

This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Team Vitality versus Nongshim RedForce League of Legends match. The platform will verify the winner through established esports results sources. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final market prices at resolution, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market leading up to the match. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected announcements about the game schedule or venue could also impact prices. Furthermore, in-game performance during the match itself, such as early game advantages or key player eliminations, will likely cause rapid price fluctuations as traders react to the unfolding events. Analyst predictions and public sentiment can also play a role, although the market ultimately reflects the collective judgment of traders on Limitless.
