This market will resolve to "Yes" if the specified team qualifies for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2026), currently scheduled for October 15, 2026 to November 14, 2026. Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides of a bet, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. While both aim to predict the same outcomes, differences can arise due to varying information access, analytical approaches, and risk tolerance. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially in situations where public opinion strongly diverges from expert analysis, and this market can sometimes offer more accurate forecasts.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which teams officially qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as determined by FIFA’s official qualification process. The market will reflect the final list of qualified teams, and shares will pay out based on whether the team associated with a share qualified or not. Any disputes regarding qualification will be resolved using official FIFA documentation and announcements.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major upsets in qualifying matches, injuries to key players on national teams, changes in coaching staff, and even geopolitical events could all shift the perceived probabilities of qualification. Unexpected results in friendly matches or significant changes in team form leading up to the qualifiers can also influence trading activity. Positive or negative news regarding a team’s preparation, internal dynamics, or financial stability could also cause the market to react. Keep an eye on major football news outlets for updates that could move this market.
