Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often include a 'vig' or commission, which skews the implied probabilities. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders on Limitless, aims to represent a more accurate assessment of the true probabilities. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market dynamically adjusts as new information and opinions emerge from a wider range of participants. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as the event approaches.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations. The current market reflects the aggregated sentiment of all participants trading on Limitless.

This market resolves around Oct 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Traders who correctly predicted the Map 1 winner will receive a payout based on the final market prices at the time of resolution.
