This market focuses on predicting whether either team will dominate the first period of an upcoming NHL game by winning by more than a one-goal margin. It reflects the potential for early-game momentum swings in professional hockey. The outcome depends solely on the score differential within the first period of play.
The market resolves based on whether either Tampa Bay or New York I wins the first period by more than a one-goal margin. If New York I secures a victory with a score differential exceeding 1.5 goals in the first period, that specific market resolves to Yes. Similarly, if Tampa Bay achieves such a dominant first-period performance, its corresponding market resolves to Yes. Both markets share identical secondary rules: overtime in the third period is excluded from consideration, and if the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original schedule, the market remains active and resolves based on the official result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within this 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price.
