This set of markets evaluates individual player and team defensive performances in an upcoming Pro Football game, using a specific fantasy-point scoring system. Each market focuses on whether a designated player or team unit accumulates more than a set threshold of fantasy points during the full game, including overtime.
All markets resolve based on fantasy points calculated using Sleeper’s default full-PPR scoring system for the full game, including overtime. Each primary rule specifies that if the named player or team unit records above a stated fantasy-point threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Players or units that do not participate or lack a fantasy-point value assigned by Sleeper are treated as scoring zero points. The official fantasy-point total published by Sleeper at the time of market expiration is used for resolution, with no additional rounding or post-expiration adjustments permitted. Scoring includes contributions from passing, rushing, receiving, kicking, defensive/special teams plays, and allows for deductions based on interceptions, missed kicks, and points allowed by defensive units. All trademarks and league names referenced are property of their respective owners, and the platform is not affiliated with the governing league.
Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of each market. It’s common to see prediction markets move more quickly to incorporate new information as it becomes available, potentially leading to odds that diverge from those found at sportsbooks.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their predictions. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. As more people buy contracts predicting a certain outcome, the price increases, and vice versa. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates what traders collectively believe about the total fantasy points scored in the Tampa Bay vs Dallas game, and this price will fluctuate until the market closes.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final fantasy point totals for the Tampa Bay vs Dallas game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official fantasy point totals calculated by a major fantasy sports provider. Once the official results are available, Kalshi will determine the winning contracts and process payouts accordingly. Traders will be able to see the final outcome and their resulting profit or loss on the platform.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Tampa Bay or Dallas teams would likely have a significant impact. Changes in player matchups or weather forecasts could also shift expectations. Furthermore, updates on team strategies or coaching decisions might influence how traders assess the potential for high fantasy point performances. Unexpected developments, such as a significant trade or a late-breaking injury report, could lead to substantial price movements in this market.
