Description

This market focuses on determining which team will score more runs specifically in the bottom of the ninth inning of an upcoming baseball game between Tampa Bay and Cleveland. It captures the excitement of late-game strategy and performance, highlighting the potential turnaround moments that can occur in the final inning. The outcome depends solely on the runs scored during that specific inning, regardless of the overall game result.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on the number of runs each team scores during the 9th inning of the specified Tampa Bay vs Cleveland professional baseball game. If Tampa Bay scores more runs in the 9th inning, its market resolves to Yes. If Cleveland scores more runs in the 9th inning, its market resolves to Yes. If neither team scores more runs than the other in the 9th inning (i.e., they score the same number of runs), the Tie market resolves to Yes. Only runs scored during the 9th inning count; earlier or later inning runs are irrelevant. If the game is called before the 9th inning is completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price. The resolution applies even if the home team does not bat in the bottom of the 9th inning, provided the inning is completed; however, if the inning is incomplete due to an early game cancellation, the markets resolve to Fair Price.
