This market refers to the combination of the pre-match coin toss and the final match result for the cricket match between Maldives and Singapore scheduled for October 9 2026 at 2:00 AM ET in T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier B. The outcome corresponding to Maldives will be considered correct if Maldives is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. The outcome corresponding to Singapore will be considered correct if Singapore is officially recorded as winning both the toss and the match. In all other cases - including where the toss and match winners differ, or where no match winner is recorded - the market will resolve to "Draw". DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, Super Over, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a match winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the tiebreak winner will be considered the match winner for this market. If the match ends tied with no tiebreak used or available, no team will be considered to have won the match and the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without an official match winner being declared, the market will resolve to "Draw". If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and will then resolve as described above.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect the collective sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a 'yes' share (Singapore winning the toss) represents the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. The more traders who believe Singapore will win, the higher the price of those shares will climb, and vice versa for the Maldives.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the official result of the toss in the Maldives vs Singapore cricket match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by the team that wins the toss, as announced by the official match referee. The platform will then verify the result against publicly available information to finalize the market and distribute payouts to winning traders. This ensures a transparent and objective resolution process.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding the playing conditions, potential changes to the teams’ lineups, or even weather forecasts could shift traders’ perceptions of which team has an advantage in the toss. Unexpected announcements about player fitness or tactical approaches could also lead to price movements. Increased media coverage or expert analysis favoring one team over the other might also drive trading volume and alter the probabilities reflected in this market.
