This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Maldives and Singapore scheduled for October 9 2026 at 2:00 AM ET in T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier B. The outcome corresponding to Maldives will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Maldives. The outcome corresponding to Singapore will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Singapore. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular player, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence in their chances of being the top batter. The market efficiently incorporates new information as it becomes available, adjusting probabilities in real-time based on trading activity.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the match between the Maldives and Singapore. The official match results will be used to determine the winner, and the platform will verify the outcome against established sources. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result of the match.
Several factors could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player form, injuries, or changes to the team lineups would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Weather conditions on the day of the match could also play a role, potentially favoring certain batting styles. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or strategic changes could also move the market. Ultimately, any information that alters perceptions of a player’s likelihood of performing well as the top batter could impact trading activity and the overall probabilities.
