The outcome corresponding to Malaysia will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Malaysia. The outcome corresponding to China will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from China. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player being the top batter. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy shares in a particular player, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived chance of success. Conversely, selling shares drives the price down. This dynamic process ensures the odds constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the match. In the event of a tie, the player who reached the score first will be considered the top batter. The official match results from recognized cricket authorities will serve as the basis for determining the winner of this market. Traders should ensure they understand these conditions before participating.
Several factors could influence the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could cause significant shifts. A key player’s recent performance in other matches, or expert analysis predicting a strong showing, might also drive increased trading activity. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or strategic changes could also move the market. Monitoring these signals will be crucial for anyone looking to capitalize on potential opportunities before the market resolves.
