This market refers to the cricket match between Malaysia and China scheduled for October 13 2026 at 9:15 PM ET in T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier B. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. Often, you’ll find that prediction markets are more accurate than sportsbook odds, especially when there's significant public interest and information available. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, so comparing them to the probabilities reflected in this market is a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief about the outcome of the Malaysia vs China cricket match. As more shares are bought for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share represents the probability of that outcome occurring, and traders aim to profit by correctly predicting the event's result. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Malaysia vs China cricket match as declared by the governing body. The winning team, as determined by the official score, will dictate the outcome of this market. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be paid out, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their stake.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or weather conditions affecting the game could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about playing conditions or even pre-match analysis from cricket experts could also cause price movements. Furthermore, large trades on Polymarket by influential traders could create short-term volatility, and overall public perception of each team’s chances will continue to shape the market until the match is played.
