This market refers to the cricket match between China and Saudi Arabia scheduled for October 11 2026 at 9:15 PM ET in T20 World Cup Asia Sub-Regional Qualifier B. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the beliefs of a diverse group of traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when there's strong sentiment or information asymmetry. Generally, prediction markets tend to be more accurate than traditional polls or expert forecasts, but comparing them directly to sportsbook odds requires considering the differing incentives and information sources at play. It's common to see differences in implied probabilities, particularly as new information emerges.
This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the China vs Saudi Arabia cricket match, as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine the winning outcome. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution. The exact timing may vary slightly depending on the availability of official results.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before resolution. Any news regarding team form, player injuries, or changes in playing conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather forecasts impacting the match schedule could also cause movement. Furthermore, major upsets in other related matches within the tournament might influence perceptions of team strength. Finally, large trading volume from informed participants could signal new information or a shift in overall market opinion, causing prices to adjust rapidly. Monitoring these signals is key to understanding potential price fluctuations.
